Police to deploy extra units to Bristow Middle School in Brentwood following threats (KRON) -- The City of Brentwood Police Department said Tuesday it will continue to deploy additional officers around Bristow Middle School this week due to ongoing threats. Brentwood PD says it has been fielding threats regarding ongoing threats to safety at the school.The threats, police said, have "understandably left parents feeling hesitant about sending their children to school." Police say they want to reassure parents that an ongoing investigation has not revealed any new threats. (KDVR) — A Greeley man has been booked into the Weld County jail, accused of shooting into a home he was trying to break into.The suspect, 26-year-old Guadalupe Balderas, allegedly tried to kick in the door of a house in the 1800 block of Montview Boulevard. A young man and woman were inside, and the 24-year-old man in the house tried to keep him out.
